Relyence 2025 Release 2 updates our web-based reliability and quality software with new features and refinements to improve accuracy, streamline workflows, and support industry standards.
Key New Features
Reliability Prediction – SN 29500 Support
Relyence Reliability Prediction now includes support for SN 29500, expanding compatibility with international reliability standards. This addition ensures organisations working to European and global requirements can build models and generate MTBF predictions with confidence.

Weibull Analysis – Group Plots and Competing Failure Modes
The Weibull module gains two powerful new capabilities:
Group plots
Allow direct comparison across multiple data sets, making it easier to identify differences between product designs, suppliers, or operating conditions. This enables teams to make informed decisions about product improvements and supplier choices.

Competing failure modes analysis
Makes it possible to model separate failure mechanisms within the same data set. This provides deeper insight into product behaviour, empowering teams to address specific failures more proactively and improve overall product reliability.

Analysis Tree Subtables
The Analysis Tree can now include subtables, enabling teams to capture supplementary data such as supplier details, revision notes, or other attributes. This flexible structure improves traceability and supports more thorough reporting aligned with organisational processes.
Accelerated Life Testing – Test Planning Utility
A brand-new Test Planning Utility in the Accelerated Life Testing (ALT) module helps engineers design accelerated life tests. By guiding users in balancing stresses, test units, and durations, it allows more effective planning, improving test accuracy and reducing wasted resources.

Usability and Productivity Enhancements
In addition to the major feature updates, Release 2 includes a series of improvements aimed at making Relyence easier to use every day:
- Dashboards: enhanced filtering and legends for clearer visualisation of KPIs.
- Workflows: an “All Approvers” option to ensure required approvals are met before sign-off.
Reporting: more flexibility in report tables and linked data.
Efficiency: ability to copy direct links to items for sharing and inherit properties from parent subsystems in the Analysis Tree to reduce repetitive data entry, saving teams time and lowering the risk of manual errors.
Why It Matters
Each release of Relyence is built around customer feedback and industry needs. The new features in 2025 Release 2 are designed to:
- Strengthen compliance with recognised standards
- Provide deeper insights into product performance
- Improve collaboration and reporting across teams
- Save time with more flexible, user-friendly tools
